The Film and Video Program
About the Program
FILM AND VIDEO (PM)
Film and Video students us the latest professional editing software, Final Cut Studio 2 (including Final Cut Pro 6), with high speed iMAC computers, coupled with broadcast quality cameras. The students create original films and videos and explore the principles of creativity, while focusing on the personal development of each student. Projects include animation, music video, documentary, narrative and collaborative pieces. Occasional visiting filmmakers offer a new fresh look at film and video and allow the student to see new works and connect with a filmmaker in-person. Videos are shown at the mid-year performance, the end of year performance, and are compiled onto an original dvd for use as a portfolio.
