Arts School To Hold Open House

Capital Area School for the Arts will hold an open house for interested students and their families 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the school in Strawberry Square, Third and Walnut streets, Harrisburg.

The open house will include tours, information sessions and discussions with students and staff.

The school offers intensive instruction in visual art, dance, music, theatre, film and video.

If ballet is on one end of the dance spectrum, break dancing may be its polar opposite. But in Harrisburg, these wildly different styles found some common ground.

It's a dance style born on the streets, featuring artistry, creativity and strength. And for a Harrisburg break dancing team, it's a passion that goes beyond hobby.
