CASA Students Study with Professional Jazz Artists
Recently, CASA students had the opportunity to study with professional jazz artists from the Central PA Friends of Jazz. During the month of September, jazz artists Paul Bratcher, Keith Mohler, Katie Rudolph, Ron Waters, and Dave Wilson worked with CASA’s student body, including music, dance, film and video, theater, writing, and visual art classes.
At the culmination of the program, friends and family were invited to a “Jazz Jubilee” held at the atrium in Strawberry Square on Wednesday, September 29. The jubilee included a sharing of artworks and performances created by the students in collaboration with the guest jazz artists.
An art and film installation created by CASA students was also displayed in Strawberry Square’s first floor exhibit space.
