• Visual Arts Audition/Interview Requirements
    The Visual Art Program requires the submission of a pre-screening portfolio in order to be invited to a live portfolio review and audition. The portfolio is to be submitted via email to vchambers@casa-arts.org and mjohnson@casa-arts.org (PLEASE NOTE: If all of your photos won’t send in one email, you may send them in multiple emails.


    *The photos of the artworks do not have to be professional quality (a point and shoot or cell phone camera will do), but please make sure you have good lighting and the artworks are easy to view.
    *Please send 6-8 photos of artworks, three of which must be observational drawings. Observational drawings are drawings done from real life people or objects, not photos.

    Title the artworks as such: Your Name, Medium.

    Example: John Smith, pencil (or pen & ink, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, oil, digital work, etc.)


    **Applicants who pass pre-screening will be contacted to schedule a live portfolio review and audition at CASA Charter School on one of our audition dates.


                        Visual Arts Live Audition/Interview Requirements

    (Please allow 20 minutes for audition/interview)

    ·         A portfolio of 8-10 pieces of artwork, three of which must be observational drawings

                         (all of which may be the same as the pre-screening artwork)

    ·         A sketchbook

    ·         An informal presentation of the artwork by the student
