Kimberly Dickerson

Calculus, Pre-Calculus, and Algebra 2 Honors and College Prep

My name is Kimberly Dickerson, and I am one of the two mathematics teachers at CASA. I grew up in York County and attended Messiah College, in the Mechanicsburg area. I graduated from Messiah in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Mathematics Education and from Drexel University in September 2018 with a Master of Science degree in Mathematics Learning and Teaching. I have taught math at CASA since the school was chartered in 2013, and I have always been very excited to work with all of CASA's creative students and dedicated faculty. I adore the subject of mathematics, but I have also dabbled in all art areas offered at CASA. I enjoy looking for the beauty of mathematics in artistic expression, and I hope to instill this sense of connection in my students.

The courses I teach are Calculus, Pre-Calculus, and Algebra 2 Honors and College Prep, and I monitor the learning of several Algebra 1 students through the ALEKS program.
