What brought you to CASA?
My daughter, Erin, who attended CASA from 2012-2014. She told me about the position and she knew I would love working with the students. I wanted to work at CASA because I believe in the mission of the school - to provide students with a rich, rigorous, arts-infused high school program. I love how CASA welcomes students and offers them a safe, creative environment to thrive and create themselves.
Where did you work and what was your role prior to coming to CASA?
Before to coming to CASA, I was the administrative assistant for the Alumni and Parent Relations at Messiah University. I would help plan and execute special events for alumni and parents as well as serving as a clearinghouse for parent information. Prior to Messiah, I worked as the office administrator at St. Stephen's Episcopal School. My role at St. Stephen's included front office administration, school nurse, receptionist and admissions coordinator.
What is your favorite part of working at CASA?
The students!! They are full of so much creativity and make me want to come to work each day to see what will happen or what they created.
What is your connection to the arts? How are you an artist?
I enjoy watching artists create, design and perform. I am not very creative, but love to see what is possible.
What do you feel is your impact on our school community, students, and culture?
I want to provide contagious hospitality to all who enter CASA. I want everyone to feel at home and loved at CASA.
What advice do you have for our students?
