What is neofuturism?
Neofuturism is a type of abstract, experimental, and interactive performance art.
For the past three months, the CASA Neofuturist Company (The Bunco BBs), have been hard at work constructing a menu of over a dozen ORIGINAL plays to be performed for you!
Come join us Friday, February 3rd through Sunday, February 5th for an all new live and in person, experimental theatre event! Together, a group of CASA students from different art disciplines have joined forces to create a neofuturist show, under the guidance of neofuturist playwright and CASA alum, Alexandra Johnson (A Night of Neofuturism, 717 Arts).
There are only three rules: 1. The time is now. 2. The place is here. 3. You are who you are.
Running at approximately an hour and a half, this show is constructed entirely out of original and one-of-a-kind pieces written and performed by CASA students. They have been hard at work writing and workshopping plays guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and even sit back and reflect for a moment. We hope you'll join us for some of this splendid performance art this February.
