What brought you to CASA?

I am drawn to the idea of CASA as a place for students to create themselves. I look forward to working with creative students.

Where did you work and what was your role prior to coming to CASA?

I worked for the CAIU at Diakon Center Point. I taught both English and Special Education.

What is your favorite part of working at CASA?

The students!

What is your connection to the arts? How are you an artist?

I search for ways to express my creativity. My recent projects include recycling furniture and rehabbing pieces for my family. I also love landscaping/gardening. My high school experience included spending as much time as I could in the pottery room.

My passion for teaching and connecting with students.

What advice do you have for our students?

Never stop learning!
