In his free time, Mr. Corman loves watching movies (obviously), and also enjoys reading, drawing, exercising, watching sports, and coaching his kids in sports. .

What brought you to CASA?

I came to CASA for the opportunity to teach something I love; Film and Video. I found that CASA is an amazing community of faculty, staff, and students, and I am extremely fortunate to be here.

Where did you work and what was your role prior to coming to CASA?

Before I came to CASA I was a film and video producer, director, and editor. I worked for a small, independent production company creating commercials, corporate videos, and documentaries for a wide range of clients.

What is your favorite part of working at CASA?

My favorite part of working at CASA is working with our amazingly talented students. They always surprise me with their creativity and ingenuity.

What is your connection to the arts? How are you an artist?

I love creating art of all types, but I especially like anything related to a camera; film, photography, animation, etc.

What do you feel is your impact on our school community, students, and culture?

I feel like like it's my responsibility to bring a ton of positive energy to the school. I love to encourage students to do their best work, and to grow to their fullest potential.

What advice do you have for our students?

Hard work and hustle is much more important than talent.

Do you advise any clubs at CASA?

Esports Team Co-Manager

Fun facts about Mr. Corman:

I am named after New York Yankee great Mickey Mantle because I was born on the seventh, and his jersey number was seven. I once had an ice cream float named after me at a local ice cream shop, "The Mick," which was a cherry Coke float.
